i/Lytics PostLocate, for both mainframe and open systems, validates and automatically corrects addresses against U.S., Canadian, and Mexican postal data, as well as against the often difficult-to-obtain address data for more than 240 foreign countries and territories. Its accuracy meets the rigorous USPS® standards for CASS™ certification, qualifying users for substantial postage discounts on bulk mailings.

Successful address validation is often complicated by the fact that address records may be of poor quality, containing incorrect formats, descriptive information in address fields, and multiple addresses stretching across multiple fields. PostLocate overcomes these obstacles by recognizing and automatically resolving error conditions. Using ISI’s sophisticated cleansing and matching capabilities, PostLocate accurately identifies free-format input line types, and parses and standardizes address elements. It then compares them to each postal union’s address database and corrects misspellings and omissions. PostLocate can be used in both batch and online processes. Integrated into account opening processes, PostLocate ensures an accurate address from the beginning of customer contact, minimizing future expenses related to misdirected communications and error-correction. In addition, it improves service and customer satisfaction over the entire life of the relationship.

PostLocate's optional Geocoding capability assigns rooftop-precise latitude and longitude coordinates to an address record, enabling users to append a wide variety of geographic, census, and demographic data to customer and prospect records.
