i/Lytics® Data Management™

i/Lytics Data Management’s advanced mapping and transformation capabilities streamline the process of transferring data fields from one or more source databases to the target database. Source fields that do not require alteration are mapped to the appropriate target fields. For source fields that do require alteration, rules are written in Data Management to correct errors or transform fields to match the standards of the target based on the detailed information provided by Enlighten™, ISI's data discovery and data management tool . For example, phone numbers may have to be adjusted from (000) 000-0000 to 000-000-000 to be consistent with the target database’s structure.

i/Lytics Data Management can also be used to identify and extract textual information in free-form data for use in validating or organizing data. This includes individual words, such as “Dr.”, for isolating medical professionals, or data fields such as the country, for organizing data by nationality.
