Fraud Management

Potential fraudsters can often be identified by a variety of clues. Their names — or the names they use — may appear on death notice lists, sanctions or suspect lists or discharged bankruptcy lists. They may appear in shared peer group data of known fraud perpetrators or as someone who has previously committed fraud against your own organization. In addition, rings of fraudsters frequently list common phone numbers or shared addresses.

The networks of connectivity created by ISI’s Synchronos™ platform can help detect all of these clues to fraudster activity — from previous applications and customer records, to lists and databases, to shared phone numbers and addresses. Names of flagged individuals can then be efficiently researched and resolved as either non-risk or subject to further action using ISI’s i/Lytics® Review Workbench™ system in a manner similar to reviewing customers whose names appear on a sanctions list.
