Innovative Systems Experiences 40% Growth Rate in Canadian Market

PITTSBURGH, PA – September 24, 2009 – Innovative Systems, Inc. (ISI), a leading provider of data quality, customer data integration, business intelligence support, and regulatory compliance solutions worldwide, announced today that the company’s Canadian sales grew 40% in the past twelve months.

“Canada has always been an important component of ISI’s strategic success”, said Bob Colonna, ISI’s CEO. “Our continued growth in this market reflects the confidence our Canadian customers have in our company and their satisfaction with our proven products and services.”

Traditionally, ISI has dominated banking in Canada, with a client roster that includes all of the five major banks. ISI’s most recent growth in this region is a result of increased revenue from existing clients, as well as the addition of new customers in both the i/Lytics® data quality and the FinScan® compliance business lines.

Colonna said, “Our Canadian growth reflects the market opportunity we see there and is the reason we located our server in Mississauga for our hosted services offerings. This enables us to increase service levels to our customers, and maintains the security of our Canadian clients' information by keeping it in country.

“We see continued opportunity in this marketplace and plan to continue to invest in Canada.” continued Colonna. “Canada is unique in that it has both the French and English alphabet in its data. ISI has new software in development in partnership with its clients that will automatically separate data by language and generate French and English knowledgebases even if the source files are in mixed languages. The software is targeted for release in early 2010.”
