Innovative’s participation represents its support for the Global Compact’s ten guiding principles governing human rights, labor rights, the protection of the environment, and anti-corruption. First proposed by Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the 1999 World Economic Forum, the Global Compact has become the world’s largest corporate citizenship program, with over 3,700 business participants and other stakeholders in more than 100 countries.
