Press ReleasesInnovative Systems Provides Compliance Solution to The Nature Conservancy Web-based eWatchLine™ to help non-profit comply with Executive Order 13224 PITTSBURGH, PA – April 6, 2005 – Innovative Systems today announced that The Nature Conservancy, a globally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to preserving natural habitats, has selected Innovative’s web-based eWatchLine solution to screen its associates against government suspect watch lists. Innovative Systems is a global provider of customer data integration and regulatory compliance solutions. In accordance with Executive Order 13224, which requires non-profit organizations to check employees, subcontractors, grantees and affiliated organizations against government-provided lists of individuals and groups suspected of having terrorist ties, The Nature Conservancy will use eWatchLine to screen its associates in real-time. The non-profit will also periodically compare its databases in batch mode against government lists, including the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list. Jeff Canter, Innovative’s executive vice president of operations, said, “eWatchLine greatly reduces the time, costs and risks associated with screening associates against government watch lists. Innovative is committed to providing affordable compliance solutions to the non-profit industry, for which time and money are precious resources.” Innovative’s compliance solutions employ the company’s powerful data cleansing, data matching and suspect screening capabilities to provide unmatched accuracy and efficiency. They include screening capabilities for a host of compliance lists, including OFAC SDN, Bank of England, FinCEN, and others. The solutions also offer a Customer Identification Program (CIP) capability, to meet the requirements of the U.S.A. PATRIOT Act and Bank Secrecy Act, aimed at identifying and preventing money laundering, fraud and identity theft. The solutions are available as web-based transactional solutions, or via software license for real-time and batch screening. Pairings of the solutions are also available, which combine the web-based screening with service bureau processing and hosted due diligence and review, to provide customized ASP solutions to meet the compliance and processing requirements of different industries.
