Press ReleasesInnovative Systems Announces 2002 New Software Revenue Growth Breadth of enterprise data integration solutions and high customer satisfaction fuel growth and position company for continued success Pittsburgh, PA - January 30, 2003 - For the second consecutive year, Innovative Systems, Inc., a global provider of customer data integration solutions, has countered industry trends by achieving increased growth in new software revenues. The company today announced that its 2002 new software revenues outpaced those of the previous year by 50 percent. Innovative's revenue growth for 2002 follows an increase of 82 percent in new software revenues for 2001 over 2000. These increases are attributed to both the company's breadth of data integration product offerings and its unwavering commitment to the success of its clients. "In a very competitive market space, Innovative has distinguished itself by offering a comprehensive approach to enterprise data quality," said Robert Lerner, senior analyst with Current Analysis. "Indeed, after 34 years in business, Innovative continues to offer new solutions for ensuring accurate data across the enterprise. Their track record, high rate of customer satisfaction, and commitment to developing new offerings have proven a successful combination for growth, and position the company well for continued growth in 2003," concluded Lerner. The 2002 revenue growth was the result of increased sales in the company's three main business lines: data profiling, data quality, and fraud and regulatory compliance. The fraud and regulatory compliance offering of i/Lytics SECURE™, a dedicated product focus since 1998, realized the most significant increase in 2002. This was in large part due to new compliance mandates of the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001, which contains strong measures to prevent, detect, and prosecute terrorism and international monetary laundering. "Innovative is proud to announce our continued revenue growth, as it demonstrates that leading organizations continue to rely on our products for the success of both their commercial and compliance data integration initiatives," said Mike Healy, Innovative Systems executive vice president of marketing. "We believe that each application carries with it a tremendous responsibility. Innovative takes this responsibility very seriously, not just as a software provider, but as a partner to our clients' success. Because of that commitment, we fully expect to continue our growth trend in 2003, and look forward to adding new organizations to our already impressive roster of clients."
