Press ReleasesInnovative Systems Announces the Availability of i/Lytics™ Advanced customer data management software provides time and cost savings Hannover, Germany - March 14, 2002 - Innovative Systems, Inc. today announced the availability of its i/Lytics customer data management software from the CeBIT technology trade show in Hannover, Germany. First introduced in November 2001, i/Lytics significantly improves data accuracy and accelerates data quality processing in enterprise information initiatives, such as data warehousing, customer relationship management (CRM), e-business and business intelligence. Expanding the capabilities of Innovative's earlier data quality products, i/Lytics provides an integrated solution for data cleansing, data repair and data linking in both real-time and batch processing environments. It resolves data quality problems for both name-and-address and non-name-and-address information, and identifies important customer relationships by linking individual customers, households and corporate customers. "i/Lytics has already saved my project team a great deal of time and money on our membership database migration project," said Keith Mortier, senior vice president, National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). "Prior to i/Lytics, we used Innovative's data quality products and services to improve the accuracy of our membership database from 88 percent to 98 percent. With the elimination of incorrect member records, we were able to save over $150,000 in mailing expenses." Mortier continued, "Now with i/Lytics, we anticipate taking our data quality to a whole, new level. The product's advanced data management and data integration features will allow us to establish and execute sophisticated data quality transformations for our database migration project in accelerated timeframes. This translates into significant time and cost savings for us, while at the same time improving our overall data management efforts." Current Analysis market analyst Robert Lerner said, "i/Lytics represents a solid, competitive enhancement of Innovative's overall product set. It is a coherent solution that can be customized to meet most organizations' data quality needs. i/Lytics also supports the company's stated partnering strategy by providing an integrated data quality offering to its technology partners, like Siebel." i/Lytics quickly and accurately locates data quality problems by using its heuristic knowledgebases of words, phrases and word patterns. These knowledgebases are the aggregation of Innovative's more than 30 years of data quality processing experience and are the most comprehensive in the industry. With this built-in intelligence, i/Lytics reduces the time, expense and resources required for implementing a data quality program. i/Lytics also provides sophisticated data analysis, data review and data integration capabilities unique to Innovative. Additionally, integration modules are available for leading CRM vendors. Unlike competitive approaches, i/Lytics' capabilities can be licensed collectively or individually, giving organizations the flexibility to choose only the functionality that they need, when they need it. i/Lytics' point-and-click GUI interface enables users to easily develop and visually confirm the accuracy of conversion specifications and business rules. The product is Unicode 3.0-enabled and comes with integration-ready C-based APIs. It also provides optional Geocoding and CASS certification functionality. i/Lytics supports XML, CORBA®, JNI and Component Object Model (COM)-based technologies, including COM+ and DCOM. i/Lytics can be integrated into Microsoft®Transaction Server (MTS), IBM MQ Series® and Macromedia®Cold Fusion®. i/Lytics is available on Win32, UNIX and Linux platforms, with mainframe versions scheduled for release next quarter.
