Reduce resources, shorten project timelines and establish the most accurate data possible when converting application systems to a customer-centric database using ISI’s proven conversion tools and methodologies
When converting operational applications to a customer-centric database that points back to the source applications, it is critical to get the new database up and into production the first time. There are three approaches to maintaining customer-centric databases: posting in both the application and customer system; entering data into the application and auto-posting it into the customer system; and entering data into the customer system and posting it in the application system. ISI’s experienced consultants review process flows and data entry procedures to assure the conversion is done correctly the first time, with all users ready on Day One, and all processes in place for a successful transition.
ISI has been converting application systems to customer databases for 40 years. We’ve built the customer systems for 70% of the largest U.S. banks, four of the “Big Five” Canadian banks, all of the major banks in Mexico, Ireland and South Africa, and many largest UK banks and building societies. Having pioneered the “customerization” of the banking and other financial services industries, which were arguably the first industries to create centralized customer databases and from which other industries are leveraging these experiences, ISI has gone on to apply this expertise to a range of other industries and government applications. Through this experience, ISI has developed specialized processes for planning, executing and maintaining customer systems, including such aspects as applying data architecture specialists for the review of data models to identify inconsistencies. ISI’s expertise in conversions has been shown to dramatically reduce timeframes and costs — and assures our clients that the job is done right the first time.
