For customer contact personnel, entering information free-form is much faster than locating and entering data by individual field. Using proprietary knowledgebases of millions of words and word patterns, ISI’s sophisticated data quality routines automatically parse and standardize free-form entries, enter data elements in the correct field, and correctly categorize lines by the type, as defined by the business user. At the same time, addresses are validated using our CASS Certified™ software, and information such as longitude and latitude coordinates and census tract can be added if desired. The entry can also be automatically linked if it matches an existing customer record, or linked to other individual and corporate customers that appear on the account.
This automated processing — meticulous yet far faster than operators can work manually — reduces data entry time, raises productivity and allows more time for the operator to cross-sell or gather information, resulting in improved customer service and staff productivity.
