Transform error conditions to client standards and map fields from source data sets to target data sets
Errors and structural deficiencies identified by data profiling are used to ensure that the target database is populated with data that is accurate and meets your organization’s data standards. The identified errors and anomalies are repaired. Data Management™ helps you research and resolve discrepancies that exist between the existing data and your organization’s standards. For example, your organization may specify 40 product codes, but the data actually contains 56. The product codes must be adjusted or re-assigned in order to comply with the organization’s standards. The fields in the source data are mapped to their proper destinations in the target data structure. Once the errors have been corrected, the inconsistencies resolved, and the proper mappings defined, accurate data can be efficiently written to the target database — the first time.
